Minor Ailments Prescribing

Ontario pharmacists are authorized to assess and prescribe treatment for a range of common minor ailments. At all HealthFirst Pharmacy locations, our pharmacists can help you get timely care for eligible conditions, often on the same day.

During your one-on-one consultation, we review your complete medication profile, including prescriptions, over-the-counter products, vitamins, supplements, and herbal remedies.

If you take Warfarin (Coumadin), regular INR monitoring is essential. Our specially trained pharmacists can perform INR testing with a quick finger-stick and manage your results in one convenient visit.
